I had the Prosecco, Pappa Al pomodoro, and wild boar with pasta. Everything came out fresh, was delicious, and the staff was very kind. Would definitely eat here again.

What a perfect way to spend our last night in Firenze! Silvio made sure we had the very best dinner experience, from helping us choose our starter, wine, main course, and side, to finishing the night with tiramisu (SO much better than in the U.S.!), caffe, and limoncello. Highly recommend this authentic trattoria!

Food was phenomenal. The florentine steak, pastas, steak tartare, and amazing! Silvio was an incredible waiter and the entire staff was so hospitable, welcoming, and fun. They made us feel like regulars from the start.

We’ve been in an Italy for over 3 weeks - this is hands down, no comparison, the best pasta we’ve had thus far (and we’ve had pasta daily). After we finished our pasta, I immediately booked our next meal here, as they specialize in truffles and homemade pasta and knew I’d be craving more. 10/10 recommend. Incredible service, too, very kind and patient. I’d take this restaurant over the touristy, 3k+ review restaurants any day.

Do not pass up on their braised beef cheek, truly one of the most delicious meals of my life. Staff was incredibly kind and friendly. 100/10 recommend this restaurant. I cannot wait to be back someday, until then I will dream of it!

Felt welcomed from the minute we stepped into Da Ginone - the servers were friendly and kind. My husband had the steak Florentine, it was delectable - I ate more of this than I thought I would as I’m sometimes picky about undercooked meat. The steak was cooked perfectly and came out with a gorgeous presentation; it had its own small table adjacent to our seats. We split the white beans which were flavorful with a great olive oil. I had the pesto pasta which came out very hot - the pesto was yummy. Only caution is most of the diners are tourists / English speakers. We had made a reservation. Overall, recommend this restaurant for a classic meal in Firenze!

Had a great night eating great pasta. Staff was super cool and all the food we had was great. The noodles were amazing. Also they were playing Black Sabbath which is a plus lol. Cheers.

The Airbnb wasn’t fully cleaned yet, so the host recommended a nice restaurant across the street. I went there and was very satisfied — it had a great atmosphere, reasonably priced pasta, and friendly staff.
